What do I need to know for Check-in?

The most important information about check-in at a glance:

As a general rule, check-in always takes place with the airline that operates the first flight of your booking.

Codeshare flights can also be journeys with several stopovers. This means, for example, that you fly the first leg with Eurowings and change to another airline after a stopover. Both legs of the journey are combined in one ticket. In this example, you check in with Eurowings, as Eurowings operates the first leg of the journey.

Please note the following three scenarios:

  • If the entire flight is operated by a partner airline, you check in with this airline.

  • If the entire flight is operated by Eurowings, you check in with us. You can find more information on Eurowings check-in here.

  • If you are travelling with two or more stopovers, you check in with the airline operating the first leg of the flight.
