Hand baggage: Size and weight
Good to know
1. To ensure that all items of hand baggage fit on board, we will check the size and number of bags for every passenger. If your hand baggage does not meet the specifications, it will be put in the hold for an additional fee. You can find an overview of additional fees here.
2. Please be aware that certain items are not permitted in hand baggage. You can find a list of these items here.
3. Please check the policy for liquids on board before departure.
4. Of course, you can take a bag of duty free shopping on board and stow it under your front seat.
5. If your hand baggage is loaded into the hold due to space limitations, you can bring your valuables, medication or similar on board in a small bag.

Frequently asked questions about hand baggage
- 1 On fully booked flights, we may ask customers to check in their hand baggage. This is free of charge if all hand baggage regulations are met and you will receive your hand baggage back on arrival at the baggage carousel.
- 2 This does not apply to bus boarding. Please also note that some airports do not offer Priority boarding.
