Validity of Rail&Fly tickets
Your Rail&Fly online ticket (depending on whether you have booked a return or one-way journey) is valid on the day of your flight or one day after your arrival in Germany and/or the day before your outbound flight. Outward and return journeys may not be more than six months apart, and passengers must travel directly to the airport and/or to the destination train station. If these conditions are not adhered to, we will issue an additional charge.
Trains you can take
The ticket can be used within Germany for second-class travel on all regular scheduled trains operated by the Deutsche Bahn Group (InterCityExpress, InterCity, EuroCity, InterRegioExpress, RegionalExpress, RegionalBahn and S-Bahn). IC, EC and ICE surcharges are included. Rail&Fly online tickets are not valid on DB car transporter trains, special trains, InterConnex, Cisalpino and non-federal trains.
Reserve a seat
The Rail&Fly offer does not include a seat reservation. Reservations can be made separately, for example via the rail company website.
Change / cancel a booking
The Rail&Fly online ticket can only be cancelled and changed if certain conditions are met. If you have queries, please contact our call centre. The name on your flight and Rail&Fly ticket cannot be changed over the telephone.
Arrive on time
When choosing your connection, you must ensure that even in the event of a delay you will arrive at the departure airport at least two hours before departure. All passengers are responsible for ensuring that they reach the airport on time. Eurowings accepts no liability for flights missed due to delayed buses or trains.
