Do I need a visa to enter one of the countries Eurowings flies to?
That depends on your nationality and your travel destination. For this reason we regret we are unable to give you a more detailed answer to this question.
Please go to the local consulate or tourist information office of your destination country well before your flight. It is your responsibility as the passenger to have all necessary documentation ready on arrival.
Why is my Eurowings flight operated by a partner airline?
At Eurowings, we are looking to grow. This means more flights, more destinations and, most of all, more Eurowings. No other airline in Europe is growing as fast as we are. But expanding a fleet like ours takes more than just a few months. So, in the meantime, we will be relying on our strong, renowned partner airlines.
In order to compensate particularly high demand weeks and months during the peak season and to bring our passengers to their desired destination, we use additional aircraft from our airline partners Avion Express Malta and Smartwings at selected locations. Even if the product differs slightly from our usual standard on-board product in some cases, this still allows us to offer many destinations in our flight program. Safety remains our top priority: All airline partners are selected according to the highest quality and safety standards of the Lufthansa Group and the aircraft are maintained accordingly. That is why certain aspects of our offer may be modified for some Eurowings flights. This applies to both the range of on-board services and cabin design. Of course, we will bring you to your destination safely and on time. We hope you enjoy the flight. Thank you for your understanding.
