Lithium batteries
Common electrical devices (e.g. cameras, cell phones, laptops) may be carried as hand luggage or as checked baggage. Spare lithium batteries may only be carried on one’s person or as hand luggage, but are forbidden as checked baggage. E-cigarettes may only be carried on one’s person or as hand luggage, but are forbidden as checked baggage. E-cigarettes may not be used on board!
Ammunition, Fireworks
Forbidden under all circumstances.
Gasoline / gas cartridges (e.g. for refill of Zippo lighters)
Forbidden under all circumstances.
Safety matches, lighters
May only be carried on one’s person, but are forbidden as hand luggage and as checked baggage.
Lighter gas, butane gas container (full and empty)
Forbidden under all circumstances.
Radioactive substances for medical purposese
Forbidden under all circumstances.
Peroxides and all forms of bleach
Forbidden under all circumstances.
Wet batteries, quicksilver, acids
Forbidden under all circumstances..
Weapons, knives, stunning devices, explosives, ammunition, etc.
Prohibited articles according to attachment 4-C and 5-B of Commission Regulation (EU) 185/2010 are not allowed for transport on board of aircraft respectively in hold baggage.
Smart Baggage
Baggage equipped with a lithium battery, other than lithium button cells must meet the following requirements:
if the baggage is to be checked in, the lithium battery must be removed from the baggage and the lithium battery must be carried in the cabin; or
if the baggage is carried in the cabin, the lithium battery must be removed anyhow.
baggage where the lithium battery cannot be removed is forbidden for carriage.
