Would you like to drop off your baggage the night before? You can do so at the following airports:
The service is available free of charge at the baggage kiosks (except Stuttgart) or for €5.00 per person (incl. taxes) at the counter.
Please note:
Use of the kiosks is not available for flights to Albania, Armenia, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Montenegro, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey or the United Arab Emirates. Please go to the counter.
Late Night Baggage Drop is not available for flights to Beirut, Jeddah, Pristina and Erbil, or flights with the final destination USA or Canada. Sports weapons cannot be dropped the night before.
If free check-in at the airport is not included in your fare (e.g. in the BASIC fare), we recommend checking in online before dropping of your baggage. Should you decide at the airport that you'd prefer to check in at the counter, we will charge €20 per person.
Malta International Airport is located in the southern part of the island, about 5 km southwest of the capital, Valletta. It can be reached from anywhere on the island. Its location is clearly marked on the main roadway between Luqa and Gudja.
There are various express bus routes travelling directly to the airport (X1, X2, X3, X4). The bus station is located directly across from the departure hall. Tickets and information are available at the information and sales office of Malta Public Transport in the arrivals hall.
Malta Transfer, the official shuttle service, offers fixed-price transfers to destinations across Malta. The service can be booked online or on-site at the booking counter near the baggage claim area.

Taxis to or from the airport are available 24/7 on Malta. Prices are fixed for these rides. Tickets may be purchased before your ride at the counter in the arrivals hall.
Malta International Airport is located in the southeast portion of the island and is Malta's only international airport. Every year it links about five million passengers to more than 90 airports worldwide.
Tourist information is available and the information booth in the arrivals hall. Hours: 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. (except Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday).
The airport has various public car parks. Parking is free for up to 10 minutes.
