Book flights to Figari (Corsica) (FSC) with Eurowings for as little as €19*.
The airport at Figari (FSC) is just a few kilometres from the beautiful southern coastline of Corsica. This is where the high peaks of the Montagne de Cagna meet the sea in Southern Corsica, creating picturesque coves, tiny islands and breathtaking beaches. The longest of these coves is Figari Bay, just ten kilometres from the airport. This bay is popular particularly amongst wind surfers, but diving, sailing and kite surfing enthusiasts will also find plenty to do here. Fringing the entire bay are long, sandy beaches that tempt visitors to swim in their crystal-clear waters. The road from the little town of Figari to the bay leads through the unique Maquis shrubland of Corsica, whose aroma is one of the island's highlights.

Along the coastline and around the southern tip of Corsica you will find one enchanting bathing inlet after another. Only the gigantic chalk boulders of Bonifacio interrupt this chain of coves and hillsides. Atop the 70-metre-tall white cliffs sit the houses of the picturesque historic quarter of Bonifacio, about a half hour from the Figari airport. During peak season, ferries depart almost hourly for Sardinia, which is separated from Corsica by a waterway of a mere 12 kilometres' width - making for a quick and easy day trip to Corsica's island neighbour in Italy.
If you follow the white cliffs lining Corsica's southern tip around to the Gulf of Santa Manza, you will also see the nature preserve of the Lavezzi archipelago. The section of the south-eastern coastline that follows is one of the best-known regions of Corsica thanks to the breathtakingly beautiful beaches of Santa Giulia, Rondinara and Palombaggia. Rondinara lies in a sheltered cove shaped like a scallop shell and featuring crystal-clear water unbroken by waves, which makes it popular amongst families with children. The same applies to Palombaggia beach, which is edged by a fragrant green pine forest. Santa Giulia is a turquoise-blue beach paradise reminiscent of the Caribbean and featuring well-established facilities for tourists. Only eight kilometres to the north is the town of Porto Vecchio, which can be reached from Figari in less than one hour.
