Can I change the number of participants in an existing group booking at a later date?

Accepted Answer

If your group consists of 12 or more people, you can cancel 10% of the participants (rounded down to the next full number of people) up to one month before departure. The price paid will then be refunded in full.

An important note: Unfortunately, additional travelers cannot be added to your existing group booking. However, you have the option of booking additional seats directly via eurowings.com at the best current price.

Would you like to change your name? You can change your name free of charge up to four days before departure for both your group booking and your subsequent booking.

How do I enter the APIS data of the participants in the booking?

Accepted Answer

Some destination countries require additional information about incoming passengers before departure, such as passport details. This information, known as APIS (Advance Passenger Information System) data, can be easily entered via the group management log-in on the Eurowings website. To do this, the names of all travelers must first be provided and entered in the booking.

How do I enter the names of the participants in the booking?

Using your booking code and PIN, you can enter and update the full names of all group participants free of charge, as often as needed, up to 4 days before departure through the group management log-in. You will find your PIN number in your booking confirmation under “Group booking”.

I would like to rebook my group. How do I proceed?

Accepted Answer

For group bookings, you have the option of rebooking if a maximum of 30% of the group is changed or if at least one flight of the original booking remains the same. You can change both the flight times and the travel dates before the booked departure. A rebooking fee will be charged per person and route, plus the difference to the new fare.

Changes to your group booking are possible up to the scheduled departure time. Unfortunately, no further changes can be made after this time. You can easily make your desired rebooking by phone or email.

When can I check in my group online?

The group manager can check in the entire group 72 hours before the respective departure via the group management log-in. Alternatively, group members can also check in themselves 72 hours before departure via the following link.

What cancellation conditions apply to group bookings?

Accepted Answer

If your group consists of 12 or more people, you have the option to cancel 10% of the group (rounded down to the next full number of people) free of charge, up to one month before departure. You will receive a full refund for these canceled seats. Unfortunately, cancellation is not possible for group bookings of 11 people or fewer.

You can cancel conveniently by telephone or email. If 10% of the group has already canceled or the cancellation deadline has passed, you can request a refund of taxes and fees for unused tickets after departure —this can be done via our contact form.

What does it cost to book checked baggage, hand baggage or seats at a later date?

You can find all booking options and prices at www.eurowings.com. Additional baggage or seats can be booked either directly at the airport counter or in advance online. You can even save up to 50%.

Can I add checked baggage, hand baggage or seats to the BASIC fare?

Yes. After you have completed your booking and we have sent you your booking confirmation, you can log in to the group portal with your booking code and your name to manage your booking. Here, you can book additional services, such as luggage for individual passengers or the entire group. The log-in for group management can be found here.
