Would you like to drop off your baggage the night before? You can do so at the following airports:
The service is available free of charge at the baggage kiosks (except Stuttgart) or for €5.00 per person (incl. taxes) at the counter. Use of the kiosks is not available for flights to Armenia, Egypt, Georgia, Montenegro, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey or the United Arab Emirates.
Late Night Baggage Drop is not available for flights to Beirut, Pristina and Erbil, or for flights to the USA or Canada. Sports weapons cannot be dropped the night before.
If free check-in at the airport is not included in your fare (e.g. in the BASIC fare), we recommend checking in online before dropping of your baggage. Should you decide at the airport that you'd prefer to check in at the counter, we will charge €20 per person.
From the airport, there are good road connections to Nice, Monaco and Italy via the Promenade des Anglais, to Cannes and Antibes via the Autoroute A8 (motorway), or via the Route Nationale 98 or Route Nationale 7, and to Digne and Grenoble via Route Nationale 202 (driving time to central Nice is 15 minutes).
Bus line 23 travels directly to the city centre every 15 minutes (travel time is 20 minutes).

There is no direct rail connection to the airport; the bus lines provide access to passenger trains.
Taxi ranks are located in front of both terminals. A taxi ride to the city centre takes about 15 minutes.
The airport is situated right on the Cote d’Azur, 7 km west of the centre of Nice. From this point you can continue to St. Tropez, Monte Carlo and Cannes. Information desks are located in the departure and arrival areas of both terminals.
There are numerous short-stay and long-stay parking spaces. A free shuttle bus links all terminals and car parks.

Our check-in counters are located in Terminal 1.
The counter opens 2 hours prior to departure and closes 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Alternatively, you can check in from 72 hours before departure via web check-in or using your data-enabled mobile phone.
Security Control:
After check-in and baggage drop you can go to the security control located
in Terminal 1. Eligible passenger groups have the option of using the
Fastlane here.
